I recently met up with some of my soon-to-be wed clients for their engagement session in Scottsdale and they brought their dog Ranger along for the fun. Being a dog-lover, I’m always excited when my clients want to include their dogs into their photos. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in May at The Farm. It’s one of my favorite places for a wedding and this one should be great!
Who doesn’t love them? I don’t get the opportunity to photograph them often, but I have to say that the outcome is usually better than the shoot itself. Babies are super cute, but not the most cooperative subjects. That is why I reserve these shoots for just my friends. Carolynn, Greg and their new baby Evelynn definitely fall into that category. I was very excited to capture some images of the precious little Miss E for them.

I know…being busy isn’t a good excuse to not post on the blog. Plenty of photographers are busy and still find time to post. Better late than never right??? There will be a barrage of posts coming your way over the next couple of weeks. Lots of portraits, engagements and weddings.
So, I’ll start where and I left off and go from there. Sid and Phill are getting married next year in Hawaii and they had me come out and shoot their engagement photos. These two are lots of FUN! We had an awesome time in Tempe, starting out at Casey Moore’s where Phill works. We got to shoot in the bar before they opened. It made for some special shots for them. Thanks for having me capture the love between you Sid and Phill and congratulations on your engagement.

This month I was asked to join up with my friends at Studio Moirae, Jasen and Christy, and Rob Nicholson for the Phoenix Photog Shootout. I’m always on the lookout for ways to help my fellow photographers, especially everyone in P3G, and this seemed like a great opportunity to do just that. We were asked to teach several groups of photographers what we felt was our photography specialty. With all my years of graphic design, I wanted to teach composition. It’s definitely my strong suit.
We all had a great time shooting, networking and sharing our photography stories. Thanks to Rob for bringing his passion for photography and learning and to Jasen and Christy for hosting yet another awesome event at Studio Moirae.
