Here is a little sneak peak from the bridal shoot I did yesterday…

This past Valentine’s weekend, my wife and I, along with our puppy Kona, decided to head up north and take in the wintery landscape in Pinetop. We rented a cabin on a lake and spent a couple of days next to the fire and just relaxed. It was a much needed getaway and it provided me the opportunity to capture some good winter landscape shots. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to just go out with my camera to see what catches my eye.

As some of you know, when I’m not out shooting weddings or portrait sessions, I’m the leader of a large group of photographers here in the Valley called P3G (Phoenix Photographers Practice Group). I started this group in January of 2009 and it’s grown to over 300 members in that time. I have had the pleasure to meet many amazing photographers and friends through this group and I’m excited to see where it can go in the future.
This month’s meet-up was a “Find the Light” session in downtown Phoenix with over 20 photographers and a handful of great models. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this such an awesome time.

Photographing these two never get old for me. This was our 4th session together (engagement, wedding, TTD and now maternity). Carolynn and Greg always have fun and it shows in their images. Thanks you two for being, well, you. Can’t wait to meet your baby girl soon.

The last couple of months have been fairly quiet on the photography front, so I decided to have a little portrait session with our new puppy, Kona. She is now 4.5 months old and we couldn’t be happier with her. Such an amazing personality and, as you can see, sooooo cute. I can’t wait to watch her grow through the years.
